The Maltese Falcon – Movie remakes from the sublime to ridiculous #1
The Maltese Falcon, starring Humphrey Bogart and Mary Astor from Dashiell Hammett’s novel by the same name is an excellent adaptation and classic film noir. This book-to-film adaptation receives an honourable mention in the adaptation hall of fame.
